Lungs affected with stubble smoke have high risk of cancer: study

As per a study conducted by Medical College Patiala over 400 persons for one year across 35 villages has revealed that stubble smoke is a major cause of lung cancer. The research has said that stubble smoke contains hazardous particles (PM 2.5 micrometers), whereas normal soil and pollution contain PM-10 micrometers that is the major cause of lung cancer. Smoke contains dangerous gases.
