Why pregnant women should stay away from Covid Vaccine?

The health ministry is has also already advised against Covid vaccination for pregnant and lactating women.

As the nationwide vaccination program against COVID19 is being run, public health experts are in view of that pregnant woman should not be administered the Covid-19 vaccines.

Across the nation, people are in hurry to get the covid19 vaccine and so are expectation women. Media reports have confirmed that expecting women were now approaching doctors seeking guidance on vaccination.

Niti Ayog Health Member Dr Vinod Paul clearly opines that there have been no vaccine trials for this group. So this group cannot be administered the vaccines.

Vaccine scientist and a professor at Christain Medical College Vellore Dr Gagandeep says Pregnant and lactating women are usually left out of trials because no one wants to risk any unanticipated damage to the mother or baby.
