In an effort to honour the hard work and dedication of nurses, the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Faridabad held a week-long celebration with a bunch of fun activities.
Complimenting these activities is an exciting cultural program featuring dazzling performances like the Manipuri, Bengali, and Punjabi dances. Plus, there’s a skit that humorously highlights the everyday challenges nurses face on the job.
Dr. N K Pandey, Chairman & Managing Director, AIMS, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We are thrilled to celebrate Nurses Day and express our gratitude to the incredible nurses who play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our patients. This event is our way of recognizing their hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.”
More than 50 nurses have actively participated in these enriching activities, further fostering a sense of unity and appreciation within the nursing community. To honor their dedication, awards will be presented for categories such as Best Groomed Nurse, Most Soft-Spoken Nurse, Nightingale Award for both male and female nurses, and Best Nurse-Friendly Doctor, among others.
Reflecting on the significance of the occasion, Mrs. Leela Devi Nair, Group CNO, AIMS remarked, “Nurses Day is not just a celebration; it’s a touching reminder of how vital nurses are in healthcare. Our events and awards are our way of saying a big “thank you” for their unwavering commitment and kindness.
