All center-run hospitals to remain closed on Pran Pratishtha in Ayodha

The central govt Hospitals like All India Institute of Medical Scineces, AIIMS, Safdarjung, RML and Lady Hardinge have announced that routine medical services will be partially closed due to Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhaya on Monday.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences also declared a half-day leave till 14.30 on Jan 22 on the occasion of the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. The hospital said that as the AIIMS is on high alert for a period of one month till Feb 21, 2024, all Critical Clinical services shall remain functional during that period.
“It is notified for information of all the employees that the Institute will remain half day closed till 14.30 hrs on 22.01.2024. All Chiefs of Centres, Heads of the Departments, Units and Branch Officers are requested to bring this to the notice of all staff working under them”, said AIIMS.
The AIIMS said that all appointments are being rescheduled and critical clinical services will be functional.
Lady Hardinge Hospital also declared half-day closing till 2.30 P.M on Monday. The hospital in a notification said, “Outpatient Department of the Hospitals shall function on 22.01.2024 with patient registration from 08-10 am and all registered patients should be attended to”.
Safdarjung hospital said, “Registration Timing of OPD Services on 22.01.2024 (Monday) will be from 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM. All registered patients should be attended to. Lab Services/Radiological Services will be available till 11:30 AM. Pharmacy services will be running till 12:00 Noon and Elective OTs will remain closed”.
On the same line, RML hospital announced, “All administrative sections/departments, OPDs of this hospital. It has been decided to remain closed for routine work like services, lab services etc. till 2:30 pm on January 22, 2024”.
