Covishield Single Dose 61% Effective Against Delta variant: Covid Panel Chief

A single shot of Serum Institute’s Covishield can provide 61 percent efficacy against the Delta strain while two doses provide 65% protection as per the research, NK Arora Chairperson of the Covid Working Group told NDTV on Wednesday. Delta variant has been attributed to the massive explosion of Covid-19 cases in India during the 2nd wave.
