“In a pioneering initiative to prioritize the well-being and comfort of patient attendants, Dr. M. The rejuvenation plan includes the Airconditioned Waiting Areas, Basic Attendant Chair cum Bed (Non-electric) at least one per ICU bed to provide a resting place for attendants, Lockers to secure storage for patients and attendants’ belongings, CCTV Cameras & Security Guard among others.

The hospital said that each attendant chair cum bed will be numbered corresponding to the ICU bed of the patient and only two entries passes per patient will be issued to regulate access to the waiting areas. These areas will be developed as silent zones to ensure a tranquil environment for patient attendants. As mobile signals may not always be reliable, an intercom system will also be implemented to facilitate communication.
