Mahajan Imaging pacts with Fortis La Femme for women and children diagnostics

Mahajan Imaging & Labs on Sunday entered a strategic alliance with Fortis La Femme, hospital dedicated to women and children health, to create a new integrated diagnostics and healthcare for them.

Padma Bhushan Awardee actress Sharmila Tagore inaugurated the revamped Radiology Department of Mahajan Imaging & Labs at Fortis La Femme, establishing it as a Centre of Excellence in High-Resolution Fetal Imaging.

The department features vibrant, patient-friendly interiors and state-of-the-art technologies, reimagining clinical experience by prioritizing comfort, dignity, and care while ensuring more precise maternal and pediatric diagnostics.

Combined with Fortis La Femme’s expertise in maternity, gynecology, fertility, pediatrics, neonatology, preventive health, and surgery, the alliance creates a 360° ecosystem for women’s and children’s health, focused on early detection, precise diagnosis, and personalized treatment, said the Mahajan in a statement.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Sharmila Tagore emphasized the role of empowerment in healthcare and said, “At the core of Mahajan Imaging & Labs’ work is women empowerment, because when women are supported, informed, and cared for, entire communities thrive. Over the years, women have begun to feel more confident and comfortable getting tested at the Mahajan Imaging & Labs, a trust built through empathetic staff, a welcoming environment, and an unwavering commitment to dignity and privacy. However, challenges remain, and access to quality diagnostics is not just important; it is lifesaving. Having worked in the area of women empowerment for many years, I believe that this partnership between Mahajan Imaging & Labs and Fortis is not just delivering healthcare, but is creating change.”

Mrs. Ritu Mahajan, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Mahajan Imaging & Labs, added, “This partnership is not just about advancing technology; it is about reshaping the very foundation of healthcare for women and children. Every test, every diagnosis, and every preventive check carries the potential to change a life, prevent a tragedy, and build trust where fear or hesitation once existed. Our mission goes beyond hospitals and machines; it is about creating a society where women feel empowered to prioritize their health, where children have the chance to grow strong and thrive, and where access to quality, compassionate care is a right, not a privilege. We are delighted to strengthen our long-standing association with Fortis through this new partnership with Fortis La Femme.”

Ms. Garima Prasad, Facility Director, Fortis La Femme said, “Women’s and children’s health is not just a medical priority; it is the foundation of a stronger, healthier nation. Through this alliance, families gain more than access to world-class diagnostics and specialized care; they gain trust, reassurance, and the certainty that every step of their healthcare journey is guided with expertise and compassion. By bringing these services under one roof, we are not only treating patients, but we are also building healthier communities and empowering future generations.”
