Apollo Spectra unveils multirobot healthcare ecosystem in Delhi-NCR

In a major advancement for the surgical landscape in India, Apollo Spectra Hospital has unveiled multi-robot surgical ecosystem supported by personalised 3D surgical planning in their Pusa Road facility. This move marks a milestone in minimally invasive care in the country. The state-of-the-art advanced robotic systems were inaugurated by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, along with India’s first Individual Olympic Gold medalist, Abhinav Bindra.

With this advancement Apollo Spectra hospital has emerged as a dedicated robotic surgery centre by bringing together multiple advanced robotic systems under one roof—an uncommon advantage that enables both bone and soft-tissue surgeries with equal precision. One of the flagship additions is Meril CUVIS Joint Robotic System, considered among the most advanced platforms for the knee and hip replacement. Accompanying this, is, Robotic Soft Tissue Surgery powered by the SSI Mantra Surgical Robot, India’s advanced multi-specialty platform designed for general surgery, urology and gynaecology procedures. To compliment these formats, and provide holistic care Apollo Spectra has also introduced fully integrated 3D modelling surgery.

This powerful robotic surgery suite positions Apollo Spectra Pusa Road among the first short-stay hospitals in the region to house multi-specialty robotic capabilities under one roof, making high-precision, minimally invasive surgery more accessible for all. The Anatomiz 3D platform gives surgeons a precise view of patient’s anatomy, enabling advanced planning for incisions and implant placement, which significantly enhances accuracy and decision-making.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals group said, This integration under one roof ensures our patients receive the highest standard of safety and predictability across both major orthopedic and complex soft tissue procedures. This is a quantum leap from a single robotic solution that allows us to deliver our signature technology-backed, short-stay surgical model, ensuring that busy professionals and active senior citizens alike benefit from minimal invasiveness, lower complications, and a significantly faster recovery time.”
