The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has announced the establishment of ‘ Ayushman Suvidha Kendras’ at all blocks, center of the hospital from March 31 this year.
“The hospital has decided to open ‘Ayushman Suvidha Kendra (ASK)” in all Blocks & Centres of AIIMS New Delhi by 31st March 2024. These ‘Ayushman Suvidha Kendra’s shall be located at an easily accessible location in the Block / Centre and shall be the single point of contact for all patients and their attendants for availing benefits under the AB-PMJAY scheme”, said AIIMS in a statement.
AIIMS New Delhi is committed to the promotion of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and has taken various pro-active steps towards the same. It added.
The ‘ASK’ shall be manned by ‘Ayushman Mitras’ on 24×7 basis and shall have all facilities to verify the AB-PMJAY coverage status of patients visiting the respective block/centre and to extend all services under AB-PMJAY to the scheme beneficiaries.
