Guinness world record nominated Orthopaedic doyen Dr Kaushal Kant joins Fortis Escorts

Dr Kaushal Kant has done the highest number of hip surgeries in old age population ranging from 70 to 107 years of age.

Veteran Orthopaedic surgeon of India Dr Kaushal Kant Mishra has joined the Fortis Escorts Hospital at Okhla. Prior to this venture, Dr Mishra was associated as the Head of Orthopedic and Trauma Unit with Primus Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi.

Leading Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Kaushal Kant Mishra has joined Fortis Escort as the Director, Joint Replacement & Orthopedics. He has over 20 years of experience in the field and 17 years as specialist making the best use of this, treating every patient effectively. He has performed the highest number of hip surgeries in old age population ranging from 70 to 107 years of age. The surgeries include Failed Hip Surgeries, all Hip Reconstructions with expertise in Bipolar in Complex Hip Fractures. He has also performed hip replacement of the youngest Nigerian girl at Primus Abuja.

Dr Mishra has featured in Guinness World Record after performing on a hip replacement surgery on a 105-year-old man. The patient was oldest person globally to have undergone this clinical procedure. Dr Kaushal Kant Mishra is also associated with K’Night Clinic  as Senior Consultant joint Replacement and trauma, & HOD Orthopaedics and Trauma. K’Night Clinic is country’s first establishment where Medical specialist will provide consultation till mid night.

Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Mishra graduated from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. Dr Kaushal Kant has specialized training in Joint Replacement Fellowship from AIIMS, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Institute Fellowship in Arthroscopy at Mumba, Bombay Hospital Fellowship in Orthopaedics and Senior Residency and Fellowship at AIIMS from 2004-2009.
