India reports 1549 fresh Covid cases, 31 deaths

Continuing on downward trend, India on Monday reported 1,549 fresh covid cases. In last 24 hrs, 31 deaths have also been reported, taking the total number of deaths at 5,16,510 said Union Health ministry on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, following a continuous downward trend, India’s Active Caseload has further declined to 25,106 today, constituting 0.06 per cent of the country’s total Positive Cases.

A total of 2,652 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic is now at 4,24,67,774. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent.

Also in the same period, a total of 3,84,499 tests were conducted across the country. India has so far conducted over 78.30 crore cumulative tests.

Ther Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 0.40 per cent and the Daily Positivity rate is also reported to be 0.40 per cent.
