New AI technique has made teenage girl’s crooked legs straight at a hospital here. A 19-year-old girl, Ayesha from Himachal Pradesh, was born with Bowlegs. It is condition in which a person’s legs appear bowed (bent outward) even when the ankles are together.  Bowlegs, also referred to as crooked legs in medical terminology, demonstrate an intriguing interconnection among genetics, growth, and overall well-being. While they occasionally manifest as a natural skeletal variance, they might also indicate deeper health issues.

Using a novel AI-assisted technique, doctors have straightened her crooked legs. Doctors resorted to Iliozarov fixator and Six-axis correction software to correct her deformity. During her school years, this condition led Ayesha to become increasingly introverted, grappling with feelings of inferiority and struggling to engage socially due to her condition.

After exploring several hospitals, Ayesha’s family’s was referred to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where she got the new life.
