The top contributor states in India include Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat. These four states have reported the highest number of COVID 19 cases. However, Bihar also seems eager to appear in the list as the infection rate is rising day by day.
However, as confirmed by the Health Ministry, India’s recovery rate continues to rise and now stands at 64.4 percent.
The Union Home Ministry has released guidelines for Unlock 3.0 to lift restrictions in non-containment zones. A day after the Unlock 3.0, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has also lifted several bans for national capital.
According to the order, the Delhi government has ended night curfew (10 pm to 5 am) and also allowed reopening of hotels and hospitality services. The government is also planning to allow weekly bazaars on a trial basis for a week with proper social distancing norms.
Delhi Government had allowed street hawkers to operate from 10 am to 8 pm on a trial basis last week. The hawkers will now be permitted to function in future without any limitations on operating hours.
The order said that since hotels of Delhi are no longer linked to hospitals, the Delhi government has decided to allow normal functioning of hotels and hospitality services as permitted under Centre’s unlock guidelines.
