Is Delhi going for complete Lockdown, CM calls for urgent meeting on COVID19
Delhi reported a total of 2,790 COVID-19 infections on Thursday leading the total case corona case 6,65,220 in national capital.
Amid rising number of COVID19 cases, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has called for an urgent meeting on ongoing corona pandemic. Delhi Health minister Satyendar Jain and other officials will participate in the meeting in the view of rising COVID-19 cases in the city.
Delhi reported a total of 2,790 COVID-19 infections on Thursday leading the total case corona case 6,65,220 in national capital.
The active cases in the city also crossed the mark of 10,000. Delhi also reported 1,121 recoveries, while its death toll has risen to 11,036 with over nine new deaths in the past 24 hours.
As per the data released by the national authority, Maharashtra is on the top on rising case of COVID19. However, Delhi has been consistently recording over 1,500 cases over the last few days. Health experts term this sudden rise as the second wave of Covid pandemic.
